Join us for a special screening of BLKNWS: Terms and Conditions, followed by a conversation with the film’s director, Kahlil Joseph and moderated by Johnica Rivers.

BLKNWS reimagines Blackness through a new lens, weaving historical figures with imaginative storytelling to challenge what we've inherited and invite us to envision what could come next.

We'll unpack the film's themes, reflect on its connections to the Black Radical Tradition, and explore how imagination itself can become a practice of liberation.

Whether you're drawn to history, speculative storytelling, or simply love work that makes you see the world differently, this is a rare opportunity to experience the film and hear directly from the filmmaker behind it. 

As we reflect on Black August traditions, we also want to remember that expanding our imagination is essential to expanding what's possible for our communities in the future.
