FEATURED SPEAKER

Minister Regina D. Clarke

From honor roll student to teenage unwed mother to a domestic violence survivor to a dual-divorcee to a purpose-driven woman, Minister Regina D. Clarke firmly believes in Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

Following graduation from Washington Baptist Theological Seminary, she continued her studies at The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (STVU) where she is pursuing a dual Masters of Christian Education ('18) and Master of Divinity ('18) with an emphasis in Ethics and Social/Restorative Justice. While studying at STVU her thirst for developing community and advocacy has moved from incidental to intentional as she operates under the mantra, "For me to succeed others must succeed."

In May of 2017 Regina was formally licensed to preach the Gospel by Jerusalem Baptist Church (Historic Georgetown), Washington, D.C.

Regina has a heart burst for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, the abused, and those who are "forgotten or discarded" by mainstream society. Her thirst for connecting the community and the church has led her to service in the prisons, domestic violence shelters, and the community-at-large, fueling a passion for the intersection of ethics, theology, and community to ensure no person -- despite their past, abilities, or status -- would be denied the opportunity to learn about Jesus and walk faithfully with their God.
