I thought I'd start a thread on our favorite books. Of course, everyone knows about the 'usual suspects' - Brennan, Mike Yaconelli, etc... But here's an author you may not be familiar with, but…Continue

Did I hear that the outlaws are having a gathering in May. Carol Howard Merritt and I were planning an unconference on the end of that month and were wondering if it would be a conflict?

The event page seems to have moved from where Angela originally posted it:

An unconference about what, Brian? I really hope the Outlaw Preachers thing is an unconference...

And I'm wondering who else is planning to go to the TransFORM thing at the end of April. How much overlap is there?

Oh, and you're right, Roger. I changed the name at Khad's suggestion, and that apparently changed the URL.

unconference will be a gathering of people at Meadowkirk (Near Dulles). We are having beer from homebrewers, wine from winemakers, bread from breadmakers, liturgy from liturgy makers, art from from artists, praise from praise makers, bonfires, chili cooking on bunsen burners, and star gazing. That is some of what the 30-35 people on twitter who want to come to this event have decided.

It will hopefully be for whole families. We are going to do it the final week of May so seminary students can make it. Two nights, visit to D.C. if wanted...Smores? I wanted to include dumpster diving, but Carol wouldn't go for it.

Don't think it will conflict Brian. Our "reunion" is in mid May in Denver!
