How it works...

This is just a place to hang out and share what's going on in our part of the country. Maybe we could organize a meet-up at some point. For now, we'll play. Be well. Have fun.

I am in Louisville, KY. I joined as there was no southern group. I hear that Louisville is a mid-western city in a southern state.

I am in Chicago. The Rogers Park neighborhood specifically. Currently working full-time as the Youth & Children's Formation Minister at an Episcopal Church in Chicago's Lincoln Park. I also am a freelance designer (print and web) and photographer.

Had the pleasure of meeting Tripp at an event at Seabury this past year. Looking forward to making more Midwest connections, especially of the Chicago-area variety.

Twin Cities here too! Actually a suburb called Plymouth, but close enough.

Hi Greg - Welcome aboard! I live in New Brighton and work in Maplewood. I found a GNA church in St. Michael but not sure if it's the one you belong to. Is this your congregation?

Hey, Josh - are you at COS? I'm at St. Giles in Northbrook. My children are both alumni of the youth program in the diocese. Maybe we'll meet up at convention next weekend.

Hey Tim! That is actually - I'm surprised you can find it! It's pretty small and conservative, but they let me run the Youth Group and pretty much do whatever I want so far, so it's a worthwhile tradeoff. :) I tried to go to Woodland Hills out in Maplewood for awhile, but it was too big for me.

Cynthia - yep, I'm at COS! I won't be at Convention this coming weekend. I try to limit myself to one multiple day/overnight(s) event per season for my family's sake, and it was important for me to go to the Happening youth retreat this weekend in Rockford.

Hope to run into you sometime though!

I am new Cleveland OH, which by some reckoning is in the Midwest!

Hi, I'm a retired Episcopal bishop and former ecumenical officer for our church. Currently serving as an interim in Davenport, Iowa. Very interested in the "emergent conversation" especially as it emphasizes missional communties which move beyond the 'church wars' and institutional maintenance of so many of our churches.
