TransFORM - a missional community formation network

I'm going to be traveling a lot the rest of this month, and need a couple good books.  What would you recommend?  Any category is fine.

Jack, here are two book recommendations: if you haven't read it before, I'd highly recommend "The Divine Conspiracy" by Dallas Willard. It's a great introduction to kingdom theology. Also, Brian McLaren's latest "A New Kind of Christianity."
Thanks.  I'm getting a bit McLarened out lately, but that other one sounds really interesting.  I'll see if I can get my hands on a copy.

If you're an Evangelical or theologically conservative Christian, this one will stretch "received" concepts/interpretations of history from within the NT, and of the development of the earliest Christian groups and theology.  It is one of the most readable and historically solid books of its general nature, of which there are several from very good scholars doing detailed historical work (vs. being theologically driven one way or another).  It is "How Jesus Became Christian" by Barrie Wilson. Similar to it, and basically in support would be some like L. Michael White's "From Jesus to Christianity" (much longer and more like a NT Intro text, but readable), or Burton Mack's "Who Wrote the NT?" (Also a MUST read!)
