Theological NonCognitivism (Atheist philosophy) says words fail. all of them. creeds. bibles. spoken truths. it all minimizes rather than expands. it doesn't leave much room for mystery. it speaks into mystery and tries to choke it.

Maybe we can adopt this when we enter into God-experience.

Sometimes words are designed to do just that -- be limiting. We can experience God without words. Using the words of the Bible as a guide to our walk rather than as the do-all be-all of it we will have a richer spiritual life.
i would even say our dependance on the bible or any piece of literature for the experience of god limits our experience of god. maybe we need to set them all down to find god beyond them, know what i mean?
Theopoetics, baby, theopoetics.
i am doing a bit of theopoetic work at the moment, off and on. would love to connect and chat about it over skype Jason...love that stuff!

skype name: conspiracyalive. hit me up.
I'd love to connect with another theopoet. ANother person to look into - and i think he is on here - i s Callid Keefe-Perry, webmaster of Image of the Fish and Theopoetis.net.
I am unable to connect this week as I am finishing an article for an academic journal. Early next?
hey senor derr! yes, i am back on the 14th from a pilgrimage, can you catch up sometime after that?
wow, a journal eh, which one?! congrats, been trying to write for one for a bit, maybe i could pick your
brain on that as well. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatc...

cool. looking forward to catching up!
I submitted an article to the Journal of Religion, Health and Disability (or, those words in some order or another). It came back with notes and a co-author! So I am working on an article on an ADHD Liberation Theology. I also have an article coming out in Creative Transformation (from Claremont) and in a mennonite journal additionally. My MA thesis is coming out from the Progressive Christian Alliance Press and it's an theopoetic look at liberation theologies.

After the 14th works for me!
right on bro. i am a huge fan of theopoetics and cultural theory and understanding the socio-applied ethics that emerge out of the praxis of theological awareness, sorry a mouthful! lol...brilliant! congrats on that bro! yeah, would love to connect, hit me up on FB and Twitter and will try to get back to you whne i return or vice-versa -- looking forward to it bro!
