Event Description

From farmer's markets to community supported agriculture (CSAs) to global supply chains and urban gardening, people in general and Jesus-followers in particular are starting to pay more attention to what we eat, and where we get it from. There's some exciting work being done in this field, Lucas Land (of http://wwje.wordpress.com) is at the forefront of much of it, doing a full-immersion internship at a sustainable farm that's all about producing fresh, worker-friendly, local food & using proceeds to fund similar initiatives to alleviate hunger worldwide. Join us for a live 90 minute presentation on our most pressing food sustainable issues, and the workable solutions each of us can be a part of. Participatory Q&A to follow presentation.

SPEAKERS/WORKSHOP FACILITATORS: Lucas Land, World Hunger Relief Farm

REGISTRATION: Is free, but facilitator needs to know attendees in advance. To RSVP and get password, email Kevin Beck at kevin@presence.tv
