A message to all members of Metro Atlanta Emergent Cohort - from Jeff Straka

AIF Iftar and Discussion on the Middle East

This Friday night, our interfaith partner - American Islamic Fellowship - will be hosting a discussion on the Middle East by some folks from Fellowship of Reconciliation: The Largest, Oldest Interfaith Peace Organization in the United States

One of the women from AIF was part of a delegation that went to Palestine and Israel and will be sharing her experience. We are also invited to participate in the Iftar (Ramadan fast-break) feast - just bring a dish to share. See HERE for what is food is permissible (Halal). We meet at 8:00 pm for fellowship and then the Iftar begins at sundown (around 8:30 pm) with the discussion.

Steve Knight, the founder of the TransFORM missional network, will be in town and will be attending. He will arrive at the AIF meeting early, at 7pm, to meet with our local cohort folks and with the AIF folks. Please join us!
